Product Overview

The OntheGo™ Power Bank (5K) is a 5,000mAh magnetic power bank that doubles as a phone stand. It snaps onto the back of a Qi2 or MagSafe compatible phone and charges it wirelessly at up to 15W, while the built-in kickstand bends up to 120 degrees so you can prop the phone up in portrait or landscape while it charges. A USB-C port handles up to 20W in either direction, so it recharges quickly and can also charge a second device by cable.

Setup

Note: Fully charge the power bank before first use.

1. Turn the power bank on: Press the side button once, or simply attach your phone. The LED lights turn on for about 14 seconds and then turn off.
2. Attach your phone: Place the phone against the magnetic charging surface. The magnets pull it into alignment and wireless charging begins automatically.
3. Or charge by cable: Connect a device to the USB-C port for up to 20W.
4. Prop it up if you want: Open the kickstand to any angle up to 120 degrees, in portrait or landscape.
5. Turn it off: Press the power button twice. The LED battery indicators turn off.

Recharging the power bank

1. Connect the included USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the power bank.
2. Connect the other end to a USB-C charger. A 20W or better charger is recommended.
3. Allow up to 2 to 3 hours for a full charge. White LEDs flash while charging and all four illuminate when it is full.

Functions

1. Qi2 Wireless Charger (15W Max): The magnetic charging surface. Charges one Qi2 or MagSafe compatible phone at up to 15W. Built-in magnets align the phone automatically.
2. Power Button: Press once to turn the power bank on, or just attach your phone. Press twice to turn it off. Pressing it also shows the current battery level on the LED indicators.
3. Adjustable Hinge (up to 120 degrees): The built-in kickstand. Bends up to 120 degrees and holds your phone in portrait or landscape.
4. USB-C Port (Input / Output 20W Max.): Recharges the power bank and charges a wired device at up to 20W. Supports pass-through charging, so you can power a device while the power bank itself is plugged in.
5. LED Indicator: Four LEDs showing battery level. They light for about 14 seconds after power on and then turn off, which is normal. White LEDs flash while the power bank is recharging and all four illuminate when it is full. A blue LED shows while a device is being charged.

Important Limitations

It shuts off automatically after 35 seconds: The auto-shutoff activates after 35 seconds of inactivity or when no connected device is detected. A very low draw device such as a pair of earbuds can trigger it, which looks like the power bank has failed when it has not.

Charging two devices halves the output: When you charge two devices at once, each output is capped at 5W, so both charge more slowly than a single device would.

Phone cases must be under 3mm and free of metal: A case thicker than 3mm, or one with metal housing or plating, will block magnetic alignment and wireless charging.

Non-magnetic phones need a magnetic case or sticker: It works with iPhone 12 series and newer and with Qi or Qi2 enabled Android phones. Qi phones without built-in magnetic alignment need a magnetic case or sticker to attach securely.

Only one device charges wirelessly at a time: The magnetic surface charges a single device.

Recharge it with a 20W or better charger: Allow up to 2 to 3 hours for a full charge. A lower wattage charger will take longer.

Keep away from water and other liquids: Do not expose the power bank to moisture, and do not place credit cards or other magnetically sensitive items on the charging surface.
