Setup
- Connect the keyboard — Plug the USB-C cable into the keyboard, then into a USB-C port on your Mac or PC. No charging, pairing, or drivers required.
- Mac first-time setup — If Keyboard Setup Assistant launches, follow the on-screen prompts to identify your keyboard layout.
- Start typing — The keyboard is immediately ready to use.
Backlighting
Use the dedicated backlight keys to adjust brightness. The keyboard draws power directly from your computer via the USB-C cable.
Setup Steps
Step 1: Connect the keyboard
- Plug the keyboard's USB-C connector into your device.
- For USB-A devices, use the included USB-C to USB-A adapter.
- The keyboard will automatically power on once connected.
Step 2: Plug & Play Setup
- No pairing or drivers are required.
- The keyboard will be ready to use immediately after connecting
Step 3: Select Operating System
- Use the OS switch to select your device's operating system.
- This ensures proper function key and shortcut mapping.
Step 4: Using Function Keys
Use the function row for system controls such as:
- Brightness adjustment
- Media playback (play/pause, skip)
- Volume control
Step 5: Wired Connection Mode
The Slim LX3 Wired Keyboard operates exclusively through a wired USB connection.
- Provides a stable, uninterrupted connection
- No Bluetooth pairing required
- No battery or charging needed
Step 6: Sleep Mode / Power
- The keyboard remains active while connected.
- No sleep mode or power switch is required.
- To turn off the keyboard, simply disconnect the USB cable.
