This Quick Start Guide covers getting started with the Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Dock (ST-UCT4DM). The dock is plug and play.

How to set up the Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Dock

1. Connect the included Power Adapter from the direct current (DC) Port on the dock directly to a wall outlet.

   

2. Using the included Thunderbolt Cable, connect the dock to your host device from the Thunderbolt 4 Host Port on the dock.

   

3. Connect up to three USB-C (Universal Serial Bus Type-C) devices to the dock's Thunderbolt 4 ports. Each port supports 40 Gbps data transfer and 15W charging.

   

4. Connect a Registered Jack 45 (RJ45) cable to the dock's Gigabit Ethernet port.

   

5. Use the three USB-A (Universal Serial Bus Type-A) 3.2 Gen 2 data ports for fast transfer and back up, up to 10 Gbps.

   

6. Use the USB-A 2.0 charging port to power a USB device, up to 7.5W.

   

7. Insert a Secure Digital (SD) card into the dock's Ultra High Speed II (UHS-II, short for Ultra High Speed II) card reader slot.

Important notes for the Thunderbolt 4 Dock

• Thunderbolt 4 supports up to Universal Serial Bus (USB) 4 and is compatible with previous versions.
• Video Output Up to Two 4K@60Hz or Single 8K@30Hz.
