Product Overview
The Thunderbolt 4 Dock turns a single Thunderbolt 4 connection into a full desktop workstation. It delivers up to 96W of power back to your computer while providing three downstream Thunderbolt 4 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 data ports, a USB-A 2.0 charging port, a UHS-II SD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone and microphone combo port. The dock runs on its included 135W power adapter, so connected peripherals draw from the adapter rather than from your computer.
Setup
The Thunderbolt 4 Dock is plug-and-play. No drivers or firmware updates are required.
- Connect the power adapter. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet, then connect the adapter's barrel plug to the DC input port on the back of the dock.
- Connect the dock to your computer. Using the included Thunderbolt 4 cable, connect the dock's Thunderbolt 4 host port on the front to a Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, or USB4 port on your computer.
- Connect your devices. Attach displays, drives, network, and peripherals to the dock's remaining ports.
Ports and Features
The dock's ports are split between the front and back panels, numbered below to match the diagram.

- Ten connections from a single Thunderbolt 4 cable
- Up to 96W power delivery back to the host computer
- Three downstream Thunderbolt 4 ports at 40 Gbps with 15W charging each
- Dual display support at 4K 60Hz

Important Limitations
Thunderbolt 4 supports up to USB 4 and is compatible with previous versions.
The dock supports up to two external displays at a time, at a maximum resolution of 4K at 60Hz.
Base model Apple M1 and M2 MacBooks are limited to one external display.
Base model M3 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro support two displays at 4K 60Hz only when closed and in clamshell mode.
The Thunderbolt 4 ports output video over USB-C. HDMI displays require a USB-C to HDMI cable or adapter.
A replacement power supply must deliver at least 135W and use a barrel connector measuring 7.4mm outer diameter and 5.1mm inner diameter.
Optimal performance requires a Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, or USB4 port on the host computer.
