This Quick Start Guide covers setup of the Satechi Thunderbolt 5 Pro Cable (ST-YTB5100K): supports single and dual displays up to 8K/60Hz, data transfer up to 80Gbps, and charging up to 240W.

Setup steps

Step 1: Connect the Thunderbolt 5 Pro Cable to a USB-C or Thunderbolt external monitor. Supports single and dual displays up to 8K@60Hz, and triple displays up to 4K@144Hz. Also supports a single 1080p display at 540Hz. For dual or triple display output, you must use 2 or 3 Thunderbolt 5 Pro Cables.

Step 2: Connect the Thunderbolt 5 Pro Cable to your Thunderbolt 3/4/5 host device for fast transfer speeds up to 80Gbps. Data transfer speed depends on connected device capabilities. Backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.2, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0 (USB-C to USB-A adapter not included). Intel-certified Thunderbolt 5 technology.

Step 3: Charge your host device up to 240W. Supports Extended Power Range (EPR). Not all host devices support 240W charging.
