Satechi Warranty Coverage: What's Included and How to File a Claim
What's Covered by Our 2-Year Warranty
Satechi products come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase. This covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
- Hardware failures (non-impact related)
- Connector or port defects
- Battery failures in wireless products
What's Not Covered
- Physical damage or impact damage
- Liquid or moisture damage
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse or improper care
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Damage from non-compatible power sources
How to File a Warranty Claim
Step 1: Contact our support team at support@satechi.com with your product name, serial number, and a description of the issue.
Step 2: Provide proof of purchase (receipt or order number). We'll verify your warranty eligibility.
Step 3: Follow troubleshooting steps provided by our support team. Many issues can be resolved without a replacement.
Step 4: If replacement is needed, we'll provide a replacement unit or offer a refund, at our discretion.
Replacement and Refund Timeline
Once we approve your claim, replacements typically ship within 5 to 10 business days. Refunds are processed within 7 to 14 days after we receive your defective unit.
