Product Overview

The USB-C Multiport Adapter 8K With Ethernet V3 expands a single USB-C port into seven connections, including 8K HDMI video output, four USB-C data ports, a UHS-II SD card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, and 85W USB-C pass-through charging.

Setup

The USB-C Multiport Adapter 8K With Ethernet V3 is plug-and-play, no drivers required.

1. Connect to a laptop: Plug the built-in USB-C cable into a USB-C port on your laptop.

2. Connect your devices: Connect your devices to the adapter's ports.

1. USB-C Cable: Built-in USB-C cable that connects to your laptop's USB-C / Thunderbolt port.
2. SD Card Slot (UHS-II): SD card reader supporting UHS-II speeds up to 312 MB/s and cards up to 2TB.
3. 3x USB-C Data Ports (10 Gbps): Three high-speed USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 data ports, up to 10 Gbps each.
4. HDMI Video Port: 8K 30Hz or 4K 120Hz on Windows; 4K 60Hz on macOS. Requires an HDMI 2.1 cable and display for 8K.
5. USB-C Data Port (5 Gbps): USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 data port, up to 5 Gbps.
6. Ethernet Port (1 Gigabit): Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps) for wired network connectivity.
7. USB-C PD Port (up to 85W): USB-C Power Delivery for laptop charging. Does not support data transfer or video output.

Important Limitations

USB-C charging port will not support data transfer or video output.

Direct HDMI-to-HDMI cable required for video output connection.

8K video output currently not supported on macOS.

Host device, external monitor and HDMI cable must support HDMI 2.1 technology in order to achieve 8K video output via HDMI.
