This User Manual covers setup, features, compatibility, and specifications for the Satechi OntheGo™ Bluetooth Mouse (ST-MOTGK / ST-MOTGW).

Product Overview

The OntheGo™ Bluetooth Mouse pairs over Bluetooth with macOS and Windows 11. Press the Pairing Button to switch between paired channels, choose from four DPI levels (800, 1200, 1600, and 2400 DPI), and charge it with the included USB-C Charging Cable. The mouse keeps working while it charges.

Setup

Note: Fully charging the mouse before initial pairing is recommended.

Power on and off: Slide the On/Off Switch to ON to power the mouse on. Slide it to OFF to power it off.

Pairing with macOS

1. Open Bluetooth settings: Launch System Settings > Bluetooth > Nearby Devices. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
2. Power on: Power ON your OntheGo™ Bluetooth Mouse.
3. Enter pairing mode: Hold the Pairing Button for 3 to 5 seconds, or until the white LED begins to flash.
4. Select the mouse: Select "OnTheGo Mouse" from the list of connectable devices.
5. Confirm: The mouse shows a connected status when successfully paired.
6. Switch channels: Press the Pairing Button to switch between channels. The white LED flashes once on the selected channel.

Pairing with Windows 11

1. Open Bluetooth settings: Right-click the Start menu and open Settings > Bluetooth & devices. Make sure Bluetooth is turned ON.
2. Add a device: Click Add device, then choose Bluetooth.
3. Power on: Power ON your OntheGo™ Bluetooth Mouse.
4. Enter pairing mode: Hold the Pairing Button for 3 to 5 seconds until the white LED starts flashing.
5. Select the mouse: Select "OnTheGo Mouse" when it appears in the list and wait for the connection.
6. Confirm: Once connected, the white LED stops flashing.
7. Switch channels: To switch between paired channels, press the Pairing Button. The LED flashes once on the selected channel.

Charging the mouse

1. Connect the included USB-C Charging Cable to the USB-C Charging Port on the mouse.
2. Connect the other end to a USB-C power source.
3. Charging takes 2 to 3 hours. The LED is red while charging and turns green once fully charged.

Note: The mouse will function while charging.

1. USB-C Charging Port: Connect the included USB-C Charging Cable here to charge. The mouse cannot be used in wired mode.

5. DPI Button: Selects the DPI level: 800, 1200, 1600, or 2400 DPI.
6. Charging and DPI LED Indicator: Red while charging, green once fully charged. Shows the DPI level by flashing once for 800 DPI, twice for 1200 DPI, three times for 1600 DPI, and four times for 2400 DPI.
7. Pairing LED Indicator: White LED flashes in search mode and turns off after successful pairing. Flashes once on the selected channel when you switch channels.
8. Pairing Button: Hold for 3 to 5 seconds to enter pairing mode. Press to switch between paired channels.
9. On/Off Switch: Slide to ON to power on, or to OFF to power off.

Important Limitations

The mouse cannot be used in wired mode: It will function while charging, but it does not work as a wired mouse.

Battery percentage is not shown on macOS: Displaying the battery percentage on macOS is not supported. Use the LED indicator for battery level indication.

Fully charge before initial pairing: Fully charging the mouse before you pair it for the first time is recommended.
