This User Manual covers setup, features, compatibility, and specifications for the Satechi OntheGo™ Bluetooth Mouse (ST-MOTGK / ST-MOTGW).
What's In The Box
OntheGo™ Bluetooth Mouse, USB-C Charging Cable, User Manual.
Product Overview
The OntheGo™ Bluetooth Mouse pairs with up to three devices and switches between them with a single button press, so one mouse covers a laptop, a tablet, and a desktop. Four DPI levels let you dial in cursor speed, silent switches keep it quiet enough for a shared office or a library, and it keeps working wirelessly while it charges over USB-C.
Setup
Note: Remove the clear protective film from the base and fully charge the mouse before pairing it for the first time.
- Power the mouse on: Slide the On/Off Switch on the base to ON.
- Open Bluetooth on your device: On macOS, go to System Settings, then Bluetooth, then Nearby Devices. On Windows 11, open Settings, then Bluetooth and devices. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
- Enter pairing mode: Hold the Pairing Button for 3 to 5 seconds until the white LED begins to flash.
- Select the mouse: Choose OnTheGo Mouse from the list of available devices.
- Confirm the connection: The mouse shows a connected status once pairing succeeds, and the white LED turns off.
Note: The mouse supports up to 3 paired devices. Repeat these steps for each additional channel, then press the Pairing Button once to switch between them.
Charging the mouse
1. Connect the included USB-C cable to the charging port on the base of the mouse.
2. Plug the other end into a computer or a USB wall adapter.
3. Charge for about 2 to 3 hours for a full battery. The LED is red while charging and green once fully charged.
Functions
Parts labeled diagram of the OntheGo™ Bluetooth Mouse with 10 labeled components.

Important Limitations
The mouse cannot be used in wired mode: It operates wirelessly only. The USB-C cable is for charging and does not carry data, so the mouse will not work as a wired mouse.
Battery percentage is not reported to macOS: macOS does not display a battery percentage for this mouse. Use the LED indicator instead: red while charging, green when full, and flashing during use when the battery is low.
Remove the protective film before first use: A clear film covers the base when new. Peel it off so the optical sensor and the glide feet work correctly.
Fully charge the mouse before initial pairing: A low battery can stop the mouse from pairing, and it powers itself off when the battery drains.
Keep away from liquids, heat, and impacts: Do not expose the mouse to extreme heat or direct sunlight for extended periods, keep it away from liquids and moisture, and do not drop it.
Use only the included cable or a compatible USB-C cable: Charging with a damaged or non-compatible cable can prevent the mouse from charging.
