Product Overview

The OntheGo™ Foldable Standhub turns a single USB-C port on your iPad, laptop, or phone into seven connections while holding the device at a comfortable viewing angle: 4K HDMI video, 10Gbps USB-C and USB-A data, UHS-II SD and microSD card readers, a 3.5mm audio jack for input and output, and 100W USB-C Power Delivery pass-through charging. The host cable is built in and tucks into a channel under the stand, and the whole thing folds flat, so a full workstation packs down to roughly the size of a slice of bread.

Setup

The OntheGo™ Foldable Standhub is plug-and-play. No drivers are required.

1. Release the host cable: Remove the USB-C host cable from the cable storage channel.
2. Unfold the stand: Open the stand to its viewing angle.
3. Connect the USB-C cable to your iPad: Plug the host cable into the USB-C port on your iPad or compatible device.
4. Connect your devices: Plug your accessories, display, and charger into the hub's ports.

Storing the host cable

1. Place the cable into the channel right after the alignment post.
2. Fit the USB-C connector into the cutout.
3. Press the cable into the channel all the way around.
4. Make sure it sits flat, then close the stand.

Functions

1. 3.5mm Audio Jack (Input/Output supported): 3.5mm audio port supporting both audio input and output. Does not support video or data.
2. USB-C PD Port (100W Input / 85W Output): USB-C Power Delivery port for charging your host device. Accepts up to 100W input and delivers up to 85W to the host. Does not support video output or data transfer.
3. HDMI Port (4K/60Hz): HDMI video output supporting up to 4K at 60Hz. Requires a direct HDMI to HDMI cable connection.
4. USB-A Port (Up to 10Gbps): High-speed USB-A data port supporting up to 10Gbps.
5. USB-C Port (Up to 10Gbps): USB-C data port supporting up to 10Gbps. Does not support video output or charging.
6. SD and microSD Card Readers (UHS-II, Up to 312MB/s): Dual card readers for SD and microSD cards supporting UHS-II speeds up to 312 MB/s. Both can be read at the same time.
7. USB-C Host Cable (Stored in cable compartment): Built-in USB-C cable that connects the hub to your iPad or compatible USB-C device. The cable folds into the storage channel when not in use and cannot be removed or replaced.

Important Limitations

Host devices must support Power Delivery and DP Alt Mode over USB-C: Your host device must support both USB-C Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) for full hub functionality, including video output.

The USB-C data port does not support video output or output charging: Port 5 is for data transfer only. Use the HDMI port for video.

A direct HDMI to HDMI connection is required for video output: Connect a direct HDMI to HDMI cable between the hub and your display. HDMI adapters and converter cables may not work.

Not compatible with the Apple USB SuperDrive or other CD readers: The hub cannot power the Apple USB SuperDrive or other optical drives.

Not compatible with thick tablet cases: Very thick tablet cases may prevent the host cable from seating properly in your device.

Connected USB devices should not exceed 5V / 900mA: Do not exceed 5V / 900mA input current on the USB ports.

Keep away from heat, liquids, and impacts: Do not expose the hub to extreme heat or direct sunlight for extended periods, keep it away from liquids and moisture, and do not drop it or subject it to strong impacts.
