No. Using both USB-C ports for the USB-C Snap Hub does not reduce your MacBook Neo's performance. Here is how the two connectors are used:
- The primary connector uses USB 3 (10 Gbps) for data and video.
- The secondary connector uses USB 2 for power.
HDMI output and USB-C Power Delivery (PD) charging are not affected, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and audio all stay fully operational.
One tip: the USB-C Snap Hub is bus-powered, which means the hub draws power from the MacBook Neo whenever the hub is attached, even when nothing is plugged into it. To save battery, remove the USB-C Snap Hub from your MacBook Neo when you are not using the hub.
