The 2.4 GHz wireless USB-C receiver (also called the dongle) on the Slim Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo (models CEX3 and CEX1) is the small USB-C adapter that plugs into your device and connects the keyboard and mouse without Bluetooth. If the receiver is not detecting, re-pair the keyboard first, then the mouse.
Step 1: Pair the keyboard with the receiver
- Remove the 2.4 GHz USB-C receiver from the storage slot on the back of the keyboard.
- Insert the receiver into the USB-C port on your device.
- Wait a few seconds. The CEX3 or CEX1 keyboard should connect automatically.
If the keyboard does not connect automatically:
- Remove the 2.4 GHz receiver from your device.
- Press and hold the Fn (function) key, then press the 2.4 GHz receiver icon on the keyboard to enter pairing mode.
- Reinsert the 2.4 GHz receiver into your device. The keyboard should now pair with the receiver.
Step 2: Pair the mouse with the same receiver
- Remove the 2.4 GHz receiver from your device. The keyboard stays paired.
- Turn on the mouse and confirm the pairing LED on the bottom of the mouse is set to the 2.4 GHz receiver icon, then turn the mouse off.
- Press and hold the right and middle mouse buttons, then turn the mouse on to enter pairing mode.
- Reinsert the 2.4 GHz receiver into your device. The mouse pairs with the same receiver.
Result: the keyboard and the mouse on the Slim Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo are now connected to the same 2.4 GHz USB-C receiver.
