StandBy Mode works on current iPhones running iOS 17 or later. Make sure StandBy is enabled in your iOS settings, then lock your iPhone, mount it magnetically on the stand, and turn it into landscape orientation. The display switches to StandBy, where you can choose from several views and widgets.
