StandBy is a feature introduced in iOS 17. When you charge an iPhone in landscape on the Qi2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad, it can automatically switch to StandBy mode if the feature is enabled. StandBy turns the phone into a full-screen display you can view at a distance, such as a bedside clock, photo frame, or a screen for widgets and Live Activities.
