The adapter has one HDMI port, so it drives one external display through HDMI. Intel-based Macs and M1 Pro, M1 Max, and M1 Ultra Macs can also output video through the USB-C port for a second display. Standard M1, M2, and M3 base models are limited to one external display through any USB-C hub.
