The MX Adapter needs the InstantView app from Silicon Motion to run both HDMI ports for multiple displays. Without it, only one HDMI port outputs video.

macOS (Catalina through Sequoia): Install the macOS version of InstantView, then restart your Mac.

Windows (10 and 11): Install the Windows version of InstantView, then restart your PC.
