macOS: No driver is needed. If Ethernet is not detected, go to System Settings > Network and check that the USB Ethernet adapter appears. Try a different Ethernet cable.

Windows: Drivers should install automatically. If not, open Device Manager, look for an unknown network device, and update its driver.
