The USB-C Snap Hub works with laptops that have two adjacent USB-C ports spaced to fit its dual connector. For HDMI output, your laptop's USB-C ports must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode). It is not compatible with the Apple USB SuperDrive, CD readers, or DVD drives.
