This User Manual covers functions, setup, pairing, charging, and battery life for the Satechi Aluminum Slim Rechargeable Bluetooth Keypad.

Functions

1. Micro USB Port: Connect the included Micro-USB to USB-A cable here to charge the keypad.
2. On/Off Switch: Turns the keypad on or off.
3. LED Indicator: Shows pairing mode, paired status, fully charged, and low battery.

Setup

Powering On / Off

Slide the On/Off switch to ON to turn the keypad on, or to OFF to turn it off.

Pairing (Bluetooth)

1. Press and hold the "Conn." button for 5 seconds until the blue LED blinks fast, indicating Pairing Mode.
2. On your device, select the keypad and click Connect.
3. Once paired, the blue light turns off.

Note: The keypad layout function is based on iOS and macOS default settings. The output might differ for different operating systems.

Charging

Connect the included Micro-USB to USB-A cable to the keypad's Micro USB Port and to a USB-A power source. Charging takes 2 to 3 hours.

Note: While the keypad cannot be used by plugging directly into your computer, it can be used wirelessly while charging.

Battery Life

The keypad's rechargeable battery will last 2 to 3 weeks with moderate use (2 hours of typing per day).

Note: To preserve battery life, the keypad will enter sleep mode automatically after approximately 1 hour of inactivity.

LED Indicators

Blue LED blinking fast: Pairing Mode.
Blue light turns off: Paired.
Blue LED blinking slowly: Low Battery.
Red light turns off: Fully Charged.
