2. Push the host cable fully into your device's USB-C port. The host cable is attached to the hub and cannot be replaced, so make sure it is seated rather than just resting in the port.
3. Remove a very thick tablet case. Very thick cases can prevent the hub from seating properly on your device.
4. Confirm your device's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode). Your host device must support both USB-C Power Delivery (PD) and DP Alt Mode for full hub functionality, including HDMI video output.
5. On a Windows PC, use a USB-C port that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 or higher for full data and display performance.
