Product Overview

The Aluminum Type-C Clamp Hub Pro fastens to the base of your iMac and puts six connections within reach: three USB-A data ports and a USB-C data port at up to 5Gbps each, plus SD and Micro SD card readers at UHS-I speeds.

Setup

The Aluminum Type-C Clamp Hub Pro is plug-and-play, no drivers or software required.

1. Adjust the clamp: When facing the ports, turn the knob clockwise to adjust the clamp; counterclockwise to fasten the hub to your iMac.
2. Connect your iMac and devices: Plug the hub's USB-C connector into a USB-C port on your iMac, then connect your devices to the hub's ports.

Ports and Features

1. USB-C Connector: The attached USB-C connector that plugs the hub into your iMac, on a 6 in cable.
2. Adjustable Clamps: The clamps that hold the hub on the base of your iMac. Turn the knob clockwise to adjust the clamp and counterclockwise to fasten the hub in place.
3. SD & Micro SD Card Readers (UHS-I): Card readers for SD and Micro SD cards at UHS-I speeds. Only one of the two slots can be read at a time.
4. 3X USB-A Data Ports (5Gbps): Three USB-A ports for data transfer at up to 5Gbps.
5. LED Indicator: Lights up when the hub is connected and powered.
6. USB-C Data Port (5Gbps): USB-C port for data transfer at up to 5Gbps. It does not support charging or video output.

Important Limitations

USB-C Data Port will not support charging or video output. It is a data-only port, up to 5Gbps.

SD card and micro SD card won't read simultaneously. Use one card slot at a time.

Not compatible with iMac 2021 or later. Use this hub with iMac models released before 2021.
