Product Overview

The 13-in-1 USB-C Triple Display Multiport Adapter drives up to three extended displays from one USB-C port and covers the rest of your desk at the same time: DisplayPort 1.4, two 4K 60Hz HDMI ports, Gigabit Ethernet, six USB data ports, two USB-C Power Delivery ports with up to 85W of pass-through charging, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Multi-Stream Transport handles the triple display layout on Windows, and there is no third-party software to install.

Setup

The 13-in-1 USB-C Triple Display Multiport Adapter is plug-and-play, no drivers or software required.

1. Connect to a USB-C host device: Plug the adapter's USB-C connector into the USB-C port on your laptop or desktop.

2. Connect your devices: Connect your displays, drives, network cable, headset, and other accessories to the adapter's ports.

Ports and Features

1. USB-C Connector: The attached USB-C cable that connects the adapter to your host device. It carries video, data, and power on one cable.
2. 2x USB 2.0 Ports (480Mbps) (2.5W Max): Two USB-A 2.0 ports for keyboards, mice, and other low bandwidth accessories, up to 480 Mbps and 2.5W per port.
3. 3x USB 3.1 Ports (5Gbps) (4.5W Max): Three USB-A 3.1 data ports, up to 5 Gbps and 4.5W per port.
4. DisplayPort 1.4 (8K/30Hz Max): DisplayPort 1.4 video output, up to 8K at 30Hz. 8K needs a compatible Windows PC or laptop and is not supported on macOS.
5. Ethernet Port (1Gigabit): Gigabit Ethernet for a wired network connection, up to 1 Gbps.
6. 2X HDMI Video Ports (4K/60Hz): Two HDMI video outputs, up to 4K at 60Hz each.
7. USB 3.1 Gen 2 Port (10Gbps) (4.5W Max): USB-A data port, up to 10 Gbps and 4.5W. This is the fastest USB-A port on the adapter, so use it for external SSDs.
8. 2x USB-C PD Ports (100W Input) (85W Output Max) (10Gbps): Two USB-C ports marked PD/Data that handle both power and data. They accept up to 100W of input from your charger and pass up to 85W through to your host device, with data transfer up to 10 Gbps.
9. LED Indicator: Lights up when the adapter is connected and powered.
10. 3.5 mm Audio Jack (Input/Output): 3.5mm jack for a headset, headphones, or speakers, with both input and output. Select AB13X USB Audio in your host device's sound settings before using it.

Important Limitations

8K video resolution via DisplayPort only supported with compatible PC's and Windows based laptops. Not supported on macOS. 8K output needs a Windows host whose graphics hardware can drive it. Macs cannot reach 8K through this adapter.

Triple extended displays only supported with compatible PC's and Windows based laptops. Extended display resolutions may vary depending on computer hardware (graphics card, processor, memory), so the resolution each display can run is set by your PC, not by the adapter.

macOS will extend to one monitor only and mirror any additional displays. On a Mac you get one extended desktop, and every other connected display shows a copy of it. This is a macOS limitation, not a fault with the adapter.

When using DisplayPort 1.4 with higher spec Apple silicon processors (M1 Pro, M1 Max, M2 Pro, M2 Max, M3 Pro, M3 Max, etc.), higher refresh rates are achievable up to 160Hz or 144Hz, depending on processor. The exact refresh rate ceiling depends on which Apple silicon chip your Mac uses.

When connecting to 3.5mm audio jack, please change input/output sound settings on host device. Look for AB13X USB Audio in the list of connected audio devices and select it as your input or output.
