FindAll trackers work through the Apple Find My network, so most problems are solved in the Find My app rather than on the tracker itself. Find your symptom below and work through that section only.
The tracker is not listed in Find My at all
- Open the Find My app on your iPhone and go to the Items tab.
- Hold the tracker next to your unlocked iPhone and wait for the connect prompt to appear.
- Tap Add Item, then Other Supported Item, and keep the tracker close through the whole setup.
- If no prompt appears, confirm Bluetooth is switched on.
- Confirm Find My is signed in to your Apple Account under Settings, then your name, then Find My.
- Restart the iPhone and try the pairing again.
The location is wrong, or hours out of date
- This is normal. The location updates only when the tracker passes near an Apple device, so the last known position can be hours old.
- Check the timestamp shown under the item name in Find My. That is when the location was last confirmed.
- Walk near the tracker with your iPhone to force a fresh update.
- Switch on Notify When Found so you are alerted the next time it reports in.
It shows as offline, or will not play a sound
- A dead battery is the most likely cause. Replace or recharge the cell as described in your product's own Help Center article.
- After fitting a fresh battery, wait a minute for the tracker to rejoin the network.
- Move within Bluetooth range, roughly 10 metres with clear line of sight, and try Play Sound again.
- Check that the tracker is not inside a metal container or a thick wallet, which blocks the signal.
It will not remove from the previous owner or previous account
- The tracker must be removed from the account it is currently registered to before it can pair with a new one.
- In Find My, open the Items tab, select the item, and choose Remove Item.
- If you do not have access to that account, a Satechi specialist can advise on the next step.
Still not working
Only after every step in the matching section above has been tried and the problem is unchanged should this be treated as a hardware fault. Do not skip ahead to this. At that point, have the model name and the result of each step tried, and a Satechi specialist can take it from there.
