Product Overview

This adapter connects to a laptop through its USB-C Connector and adds an HDMI Video Port (4K@60Hz), a USB-A Gen 2 Port (10Gbps), 2× USB-A Gen 1 Ports (5Gbps), an Ethernet Port (1 Gigabit), an SD & microSD Card Reader (UHS-I), and a USB-C PD 3.1 Port (up to 140W max.). It is plug and play.

Setup

The adapter is plug and play.

1. Connect to a laptop: Plug the adapter's USB-C Connector into your laptop.
2. Connect your devices: Connect your devices to the adapter's ports.

1. USB-C Connector: Connects the adapter to your laptop.
2. SD & microSD Card Reader (UHS-I)
3. HDMI Video Port (4K@60Hz): A direct HDMI-to-HDMI cable is required for the video output connection.

7. USB-C PD 3.1 Port (Up to 140W max.): USB-C charging port. It will not support data transfer or video output. A USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable or a USB-C cable supporting EPR technology is required to reach 140W with supporting devices.

Important Limitations

Charging port is power only: The USB-C charging port will not support data transfer or video output.

Direct HDMI cable required: A direct HDMI-to-HDMI cable is required for the video output connection.

140W needs an EPR or MagSafe 3 cable: A USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable, or a USB-C cable supporting EPR technology, is required to reach wattage at 140W with supporting devices.

Not compatible with Apple USB SuperDrive: Not compatible with Apple USB SuperDrive or other CD readers due to excessive power requirements.
