No. The Thunderbolt 4 Multimedia Pro Dock is plug and play and does not need any software. SiliconMotion and DisplayLink software are not supported or needed.

To set up the Thunderbolt 4 Multimedia Pro Dock:

1. Connect the included power adapter to the dock.
2. Connect the dock to the Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C port on your computer with the included Thunderbolt cable.
3. Press the power button on the front of the dock. The power LED changes from white to green once the dock is fully connected.
