Use one of the included 3M Adhesive Rings to mount the OntheGo 5-in-1 Multiport Adapter to the back of your laptop’s lid. The ring is permanent, so plan where it goes before you peel it.

To attach a 3M Adhesive Ring:

1. Clean the surface where you will place the 3M Adhesive Ring.
2. Before peeling the adhesive, check that the adapter’s built-in USB-C cable comfortably reaches your laptop’s USB-C port. Adjust the placement if needed.
3. Remove the protective film from the 3M Adhesive Ring to expose the adhesive.
4. Press the 3M Adhesive Ring firmly onto a clean, flat surface. Avoid curved or textured areas.
5. Attach the OntheGo 5-in-1 Multiport Adapter to the ring and connect your devices.

Good to know:

• The magnetic base and the 3M Adhesive Ring are for positioning and mounting only. They do not provide wireless charging.
• Two 3M Adhesive Rings come in the box.
• On devices that already have a magnetic mount, such as a MagSafe iPhone, you do not need a ring.
