1. USB-C Charging Port — Connect the included USB-C cable here to charge the mouse.
2. Left Button — Primary click button.
3. Right Button — Secondary click / right-click button.
4. Scroll Wheel — Scroll up and down to navigate content.
5. LED Indicator — Shows charging status, low battery, and pairing mode.
6. Power Switch — Slide to power the mouse on or off.
7. Optical Sensor — Tracks movement on the surface beneath the mouse.
8. Pairing Button — Press and hold to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
Pairing Your Mouse
To pair with macOS:
1. Go to System Preferences > Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
2. Power on the M1 Mouse using the Power Switch (we recommend charging fully before first use).
3. Press and hold the Pairing Button for 3–5 seconds until the blue LED flashes.
4. On your Mac, select "Satechi M1 Mouse" from the Bluetooth device list.
5. The mouse is connected when the Bluetooth settings show "Connected" status.
Note: The M1 Mouse supports one host device at a time. To connect to a new device, hold the Pairing Button again to re-enter pairing mode and connect to the new device.
Charging Your Mouse
Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the USB-C Charging Port on the mouse and plug the other end into a computer or USB wall adapter. A full charge takes approximately 2–3 hours. The mouse can be used wirelessly while charging.
Note: The M1 Mouse does not support wired mode — it operates wirelessly only. The charging cable is for power only.
LED Indicators
Blue LED flashing: Mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
Blue LED on (while charging): Mouse is charging.
Blue LED turns off: Mouse is fully charged.
Red LED on: Battery is low — charge soon.
Note: macOS does not display battery percentage for the M1 Mouse. Use the LED indicator to monitor battery status.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this mouse while it's charging?
Yes. The M1 Mouse can be used wirelessly while it is plugged in and charging.
Does this mouse support multiple devices?
No. The M1 Mouse pairs with one device at a time. To switch to a different device, press and hold the Pairing Button to disconnect and re-enter pairing mode, then connect to the new device.
Why doesn't macOS show the battery percentage?
The M1 Mouse does not report battery percentage to macOS. Monitor battery status using the LED indicator — a red LED means the battery is low and needs charging.
Can I use this mouse in wired mode?
No. The M1 Mouse is wireless-only. The USB-C port is for charging only and does not support wired use.

1. Do not expose to extreme heat or direct sunlight for extended periods.
2. Do not drop or subject the mouse to strong impacts.
3. Keep away from liquids and moisture.
