1. HDMI Connector β HDMI 2.1 connector at the display end of the cable. Connect to the HDMI port on your external monitor or TV. Supports up to 8K/60Hz on compatible Windows displays and up to 4K/60Hz on macOS.
2. LED Indicator β Illuminates when the cable is connected and active, confirming a live display connection.
3. USB-C Connector β USB-C connector at the device end. Plug into the USB-C or Thunderbolt port on your laptop or device. The host USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode (DP Alt Mode).
Setup
Step 1: Connect the USB-C end (Port 3) to the USB-C or Thunderbolt port on your computer. Confirm your computer's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.
Step 2: Connect the HDMI end (Port 1) to the HDMI port on your external monitor or TV.
Step 3: On your display, switch the input source to HDMI and begin streaming. The LED indicator (Port 2) will illuminate to confirm an active connection.
Important Notes
Host USB-C port must support DP Alt Mode: This cable requires DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) on the host USB-C port. Most MacBooks, iPad Pros, and modern Windows laptops with USB-C or Thunderbolt ports support this. Check your device specifications to confirm.
8K output requires Windows and compatible hardware: 8K/60Hz output is supported on Windows with an 8K-capable GPU and 8K-capable display. macOS does not support 8K output via this cable β Mac devices are limited to 4K/60Hz.
High-refresh-rate support for gaming: This cable supports 4K/120Hz, 2K/240Hz, and 1080p/500Hz for high-refresh-rate gaming on compatible Windows systems and displays.
Some monitors require settings changes for 8K: When outputting 8K resolution, some monitors may require you to manually adjust display settings on the monitor or in your operating system's display preferences.
