AVS (Adjustable Voltage Supply) is part of the USB Power Delivery 3.2 specification and allows voltage to be adjusted in finer increments than standard fixed-voltage profiles. On the ChargeView™ 240W Desktop Charger, Ports C1 and C2 support AVS, enabling optimized charging for devices that support the USB PD 3.2 extended power range — such as recent MacBook Pro models drawing over 100W. PPS (Programmable Power Supply) is part of the USB PD 3.0 specification and enables real-time voltage and current adjustments for compatible devices, which reduces heat and improves charging efficiency. Ports C1 through C4 on the ChargeView 240W Desktop Charger support PPS. Both AVS and PPS require a compatible device and cable to activate these charging modes.
