The Thunderbolt 4 Multimedia Pro Dock has two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and two HDMI 2.1 ports and can support up to four external displays. How many you can actually use depends on your computer.
Windows PCs: If your PC supports MST (Multi-Stream Transport), the dock can drive up to four external displays in extended mode over the single Thunderbolt 4 connection, at 4K and 60Hz, with the fourth display at 4K and 30Hz. On some laptops, to use the fourth display you need to close the laptop lid and use an external keyboard and mouse. On a tablet such as the Surface Pro 9, disable the built-in screen.
Mac computers: macOS uses SST (Single-Stream Transport), so the dock can extend to two displays and mirror the others. Base model M1 and M2 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13-inch support one external display, up to 4K and 60Hz through the dock. Higher-tier Apple silicon chips and Mac desktops support more.
Mixing connections: You can connect one monitor by HDMI and another by DisplayPort at the same time.
M4 iPad Pro: The dock works with the M4 iPad Pro, which supports one external display. A second monitor will mirror the first.
