You can charge it, but not at full speed. The 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021/2023, M1 Max or M2 Max) can draw up to 140W, while each USB-C port on the 165W USB-C 4-Port PD GaN Charger provides up to 100W. Your MacBook Pro will still charge and run on stable power, but more slowly than with Apple's original 140W adapter.
