The Thunderbolt 5 CubeDock with SSD Enclosure has a built-in M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure. The SSD is not included.

• Sizes: M.2 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280.
• Type: NVMe (M-Key) SSDs only. SATA SSDs are not compatible.
• Capacity: up to 8TB.
• Speed: up to 6000 MB/s, depending on the SSD installed.

For an SSD with a heatsink, skip the thick thermal pad during installation because space inside the SSD enclosure is limited. Turn off the dock before installing or removing an SSD, and always eject the SSD before turning off or unplugging the dock.
