If the buttons on your R2 Bluetooth Multimedia Remote Control aren’t doing anything, try these steps:

• After 10 minutes without use, the remote goes to sleep. Press any button to wake it. If the light flashes red, the battery is low, so charge the remote with the included USB-C cable.
• Confirm the remote is connected via Bluetooth (check your Bluetooth settings).
• Check the mode switch. Use Multimedia (M) for Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, and YouTube, and Presentation (P) for PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi, Google Slides, and PDF. The YouTube app doesn’t support fast-forward or rewind, but YouTube in a web browser does.
• In Multimedia (M) mode, the Mic button (Siri) and Keyboard button (virtual keyboard) only work with iPhone and iPad.
• Test in a different application to rule out an app-specific issue.
