Here is how to install a 2230 NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) solid state drive (SSD) in the Satechi Mini NVMe SSD Enclosure. The SSD is sold separately, and only the 2230 size fits.

1. Slide the magnetic cover off the enclosure.
2. Insert the 2230 SSD at a 45 degree angle.
3. Pull back the included silicone pin.
4. Push down on the SSD.
5. Secure the SSD in place with the silicone pin.
6. Align the grooves and slide the cover back onto the enclosure.

Before using the drive with an iPhone or iPad, format it to ExFAT.
