Quick Start Guide: DotDisk™ 80Gbps SSD Enclosure

Getting Started

1. Open the enclosure: Carefully open the SSD enclosure following the instructions on the packaging.
2. Install the SSD: Insert your NVMe M.2 SSD into the M.2 slot at a slight angle, then press down and secure with the included screw or retention clip.
3. Close the enclosure: Reassemble the enclosure carefully.
4. Connect to your computer: Use the included USB-C cable to connect the enclosure to your computer.
5. Format the SSD (if new): Open Disk Utility (Mac) or Disk Management (Windows) to format the drive. Choose APFS for Mac, NTFS for Windows, or ExFAT for cross-platform use.

Tips

• Use the cable that came with the enclosure for optimal transfer speeds.
• The enclosure may feel warm during sustained transfers. This is normal.
